Tim Plowden Wins Award in Druk International Film Festival

by Tim Plowden, 17 August 2021

Tim Plowden, of Tim Plowden Photography, has won a prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award from the Druk International Film Festival. The award was given for Tim Plowden’s exciting nature documentary, The Circle of Life, which provides fresh insights into bird nest predation by Oriental Pied Hornbills in urban Singapore. The Circle of Life features exceptional narration (Ian Russell), story line, and visuals.

I’m delighted to receive the Outstanding Achievement Award for The Circle of Life. With this production I attempted to apply everything I’ve learned so far about film making, interpreting behaviour and communicating wildlife conservation subjects. It was wonderful to work with long-time collaborators, Reehana Shihab and Ian Russell, again.

Druk International Film Festival (DIFF) is a monthly live screening film, music, and screenwriting competition with a live Annual Screening & Awards Show Event in Bhutan.
