Tim Plowden Wins Award at Nature Without Borders International Film Festival

by Tim Plowden, 08 January 2022

Tim Plowden, of Tim Plowden Photography, has won a prestigious Exceptional Merit Award from the Nature Without Borders International Film Festival. The award was given for Tim Plowden’s exciting nature documentary, The Circle of Life, which provides fresh insights into bird nest predation by Oriental Pied Hornbills in urban Singapore. The Circle of Life features exceptional narration (Ian Russell), story line, and visuals.

I’m delighted to receive my Exceptional Merit Award for my second independent production. With this production I attempted to apply everything I’ve learned so far about film making, interpreting behaviour and communicating wildlife conservation subjects. It was wonderful to work with long-time collaborators, Reehana Shihab and Ian Russell, again.
