Racing for Rhinos: The Africa Society Commission Tim Plowden’s African Wildlife Prints for a Fundraising and Awareness Event for Rhino Conservation in Africa

Today a fundraising and awareness event, “Racing for Rhinos”, was held at the Singapore Turf Club for the protection of the critically endangered rhino in Africa. The Africa Society commissioned three of Tim Plowden’s African wildlife prints for their raffle and auction.

The Africa Society of Singapore

The Africa Society was founded in Singapore in 1963 and currently has a strong community-following who regularly come together to celebrate Africa. The Africa Society draws members from a wide range of professions, nationalities and across many business interests. The Africa Society is run as a non-profit organization by a volunteer committee whose main purpose is to bring together people with an affinity for the continent of Africa and the cultures she represents while raising awareness of selected causes.
