Tim Plowden Wins Award of Merit From IndieFEST Film Awards for Short Wildlife Film, The Return Of The Salmon.

Tim Plowden, of Tim Plowden Photography, has won a prestigious Award of Merit from the IndieFEST Film Awards. The award was given for Tim Plowden’s exciting short nature documentary, The Return Of The Salmon, presenting the story of the salmon’s final journey from the Pacific Ocean to the spawning grounds in Alaska’s vast wilderness. The Return Of The Salmon features an exceptional blend of video footage, time lapse and still images accompanied by an original score by, Alaskan based composer, Christel Veraart.
The documentary was spurred by witnessing the salmon migration in the rivers of Southeast Alaska. It was to be the salmon’s final journey. Something about the whole experience had been special – magical almost.
